Organometallics and their Applications (OATA)

A two-day symposium is to be held at the Cape Town Waterfront on Thursday, August 10th and Friday, August 11th 2006, with registration and an ice-breaker at the Aquarium on the evening of Wednesday August 9th. Themes covered during this symposium, and attending speakers are listed below. Further functions include a cocktail party to be held at the Royal Cape Yacht Club on the evening of Thursday August 10th and the Symposium banquet on the evening of Friday August 11th.

The cost of registration will be R1000, with special reduced rate (R500) for students and accompanying persons (R300).

Should you wish to submit a poster presentation abstract be sure to follow these steps:
(a) Download the abstract template
(b) Save the template to disc or hard-drive
(c) Prepare the abstract of your presentation according to the given format
(d) Save your abstract as an MSWord document with the file name in the following format: "Lastname-firstnameOATA2006.doc" (for example: Thabo Mketsu will save his abstract as Mketsu-ThaboFWC2006.doc)
(e) Check that your file size does not exceed 300kB
(f) Open the following email OATA2006@science.uct.ac.za, attach your abstract and send

There will be a limited number of invited talks. Posters will be welcomed.
